Fighting has raged for the fourth consecutive day between the FARDC (Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo) and AFC/M23 (Armed Forces of the Congo/M23) fighters in several areas of South Kivu, including Kaziba, Kamanyola, Lubarika, and Rurambo. The Congolese army claims to have repelled an M23/AFC attempt to advance toward the hills of Rurambo.
